So I've got the Outlook 2007 beta running as my default mail client. It's very stable and I'm never going back. My favorite features:
- RSS Feeds. Seeing all of my RSS feeds (like my favorite blogs and SharePoint sites) in an Outlook folder is great.
- As-you-type search. It's such a time-saver to find emails (and RSS feeds!) instantly. It's one of those 'you have to see it to believe it' type of features.
- To-Do Bar. I'm a big fan of seeing my email, upcoming appointments and tasks all at the same time. Now I want this on my desktop...Vista, anyone?
- Improved Object Model. The improvements Randy Byrne and team have made to the Outlook 2007 object model are amazing. I will be posting some of the new add-ins I've created once Beta 2 is available publicly.
